Terms of Service and Refunds
Last updated: publish date
These terms cover your use of KastorFlow, the Chrome extension, and the KastorFlow website. "We" and "us" mean LP: developer or company name, who makes KastorFlow. By installing or using KastorFlow you agree to these terms.
1. What KastorFlow is
KastorFlow is a Chrome extension that works with Google NotebookLM. It is an independent product. It isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by Google, and it depends on NotebookLM working in your browser. If Google changes NotebookLM, some KastorFlow features may stop working until we update them.
2. Your account and your content
- You can use KastorFlow without an account. Some features and all paid plans need you to sign in.
- Your notebooks and the content you capture stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the features you use, as described in our privacy policy.
- You're responsible for the content you capture, import or publish, including podcast episodes you make public, and for having the right to use it.
- Use KastorFlow within Google's terms for NotebookLM and the terms of the sites you capture from.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use KastorFlow to break the law, infringe others' rights, publish harmful or abusive content, overload or attack our servers, get around plan limits, or resell the service. We may suspend an account that does, and remove published podcast content that breaks these rules.
4. Plans and billing
- KastorFlow has a Free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Pro+. Prices are on the pricing page and are in US dollars.
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card details go to Dodo Payments, never to us. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.
- Plan limits, such as monthly runs or published podcast minutes, are described on the pricing page and inside KastorFlow. We may change prices or limits; a price change applies from your next renewal after we tell you about it.
5. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & usage → Manage billing.
- When you cancel, your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays on through the payment provider's grace period while the payment is retried. If it still fails, your account moves to Free.
- Moving to Free never deletes what you made. Everything stays, including published podcast episodes; only new paid actions are blocked.
6. Refunds
- You can ask for a full refund within LP: refund window, for example 14 days of your first payment for a plan, or of a yearly renewal, by emailing LP: contact email.
- After that window, payments aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the period ends.
- When a refund is issued, or a payment is reversed through a dispute, the paid plan ends at once and your account moves to Free.
7. Changes and availability
We work to keep KastorFlow running, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is central to a paid plan, we'll tell you and you can cancel.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data in NotebookLM or in tools you connect. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using KastorFlow at any time by uninstalling it and, if you have one, asking us to delete your account. We may end these terms for an account that breaks them.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of LP: country or state. Where local consumer law gives you rights these terms can't take away, those rights still apply.
